Hi everyone!
I’m happy to announce that I have been lining myself up to do a few book signings in November, shortly after the release of my new book, Mucking in the Corners, which you can find out more about on my Instagram page, and which is available for pre-order on Amazon.ca and Amazon.com. The book is scheduled to be released October 27 in Canada and November 24 in the U.S. I invite you to check out the book’s Amazon page as some of the endorsements I requested from a few hockey personalities and sports writers have now been added. As for my book tour (if you can call it that) I’m limiting myself to the Ottawa area right now, but I expect to branch out a bit and hit a few other Canadian cities in 2027, so stay tuned for more details as plans become concrete. Since the book is about forgotten personalities and quirky events of the 1970s, there are of course several stories that involve both the Golden Seals and Barons. In fact, just about every team of the era has a nice juicy story somewhere in the forty chapters of the book, so there should be a little something for everyone.
Since I’ve been rather busy lately writing articles and preparing posts for my Instagram and LinkedIn pages (where I will be sharing a few pointers to anyone looking to get published), I will be making this post a little shorter than usual. This week I’ve found a very interesting clip of various Cleveland Barons highlights, which you can watch at this YouTube link. I find that the old Barons clips have been coming out of the wood work lately, so I will likely be posting more of these in the future.
Until next time, stay gold!
