Man, Upper Deck really was a crap factory at times back in the 1990s; they really tried too hard sometimes. Remember that 2005 movie Son of the Mask? Of course not, no one does. It was a horrible piece of garbage covered in vomit and cat pee. Did you know, however, that Dennis Bonvie once auditioned to play the lead in that movie after Jim Carrey decided he still wanted a movie career, and that starring in the sequel to The Mask would not allow that to happen? Don’t believe me? Check out the pearly whites on Dennis, and then check out Jamie Kennedy below mugging for the camera without a care in the world, surely not at all realizing his movie career was about to come to an end thanks to this stinkbomb.

Maybe the casting director of Son of the Mask would have been wise to hire ol’ Dennis after all. I mean, it’s not like he could have done a worse job, could he?
