Here is another disaster from the classic 1968-69 O-Pee-Chee set.  Jean-Guy Talbot was not actually selected by the St. Louis Blues in the expansion draft.  Rather, he was picked up by Minnesota, but after playing just four games with the North Stars, he was traded to Detroit.  After just 32 games with the Wings, Talbot was placed on waivers, where the Blues nabbed him.  So, OK, I can forgive O-Pee-Chee for not having a lot of opportunities to get a picture of Jean-Guy in a St. Louis uniform, but come on! That is one teeny tiny logo.  I mean, it is kind of like wearing a hat meant for a Barbie doll or Lego figurine.  It looks just like a real hat, but it has no business being worn by a human adult. That being said, this crest is overwhelmingly better looking than the thing that adorns poor Ab McDonald’s card.  I mean, at least the logo on Talbot’s uniform LOOKS like the St. Louis Blues’ crest.
