Could O-Pee-Chee not have chosen a better picture of Glen Hanlon for their 1987-88 subset?  I mean, Glen played 1963 minutes that year and yet the photographer at this particular game, who probably took dozens of photos of Glen that night, thought, “Yup, this is the shot that best exemplifies what it means to be a goalie in the NHL: scratchin’ the ole crotch there.”  Got to love the classic bird cage mask though and the old brown pads that almost every goalie wore in those days.  It’s also nice to see a goalie wearing the famous number 1 on his sleeve, which you just don’t see any more for some reason.  One thing we definitely DO NOT need to see more of?  Dudes grabbin’ their crotch like they were extras in a Michael Jackson video.
